Just got a BRIGHT blue spoiler for my dark red nova....rubbed it down using rubbing compound, under the impression that i can spray straight onto this now without having to primer it etc, is this true or ?

Secondly, i doubt i can get the exact red so is it possible to cover it with Carbon Fibre looking film, like the dash stuff?

Last but not least, HOW do i fit it?! Whats the best way to fit it, i know there are 4 bolts to attach to the tailgate - will the tailgate need to be removed or ??

ANY help with this would GREATLY be appreciated!

Thanks!

i presume you can spray straight over the old paint if its been rubbed down

fittings not that hard, just gotta drill 4 holes
just messure and messure again

i would primer it first

second imo it'll be a big and difficult job to cover it in carbon fiber but if youve got the time and patience and can get it looking good with no bubbles creases ect then go for it (pics if you do plz as will look good)

as for fitting use masking tape to help you mark the holes up

as for fitting use masking tape to help you mark the holes up

they go through the boot at an angle so don't forget about that
