No v5?????

Hi all been in touch wi some1 thats sellin a nova shell looks really nice an the price is right but it has no v5...it has an expired tax disc and the guy says the v5 can be re-applied for....
as i have no idea about what to do can any 1 point me in the right direction?

P.s. the guy seems a sound guy an he aint tryin to rip me off or anything.

I would leave it,

or take the chassis number from the front panel and reg plate and get it checked out before you buy it.

If you don't buy it can I have a telephone number cos I bent my shell on saturday so I need to re-shell mine. With a lot less interior this time lol.

Just been looking on dvla website and it says you can re-apply for the V5 for a fee of ?19

Yeah but a car or shell without one could easily be someone elses.

Get it checked first. If it is good and cheap but you don't want it send me a PM with info :wink:. I need a new one.

v62 form at post office...

but you won't be able to tax it till the v5 comes back

also what is the shell? mk1/mk2 gsi etc etc????

does it have any reg plates, is the floor stamped?

its a 1.2 shell
dunno about no. plates but it has the old tax disc wi the reg on

Ash, haven't been on this website for such a long time and have just looked at your feature only to find the Nova has been crashed, gutted for you, is it in the scrappers now? Looked immaculate from the respray as well :(

Dunno where it is now....it was up at turner brothers in Holmbridge but before it was destroyed i took everything i could that wasnt damaged...
Y ait looked better in real life the phottos dont do it justice....
Ya the crash was nasty broke my face and had some metal plates inserted... :o
but im alive and still love novas...

I'm good thanks, unlike you from the sounds of it, what happened? Must have been really bad for them to put plates in your face. And only one week after you got it back, but that's the way it always goes. Noticed your doing a saloon, don't fancy a different car now then?

Lookin all the time for a Cheap project...
Im ok now after the crash.
At the moment im dving a citroen xantia 1.8 16v and its turd...lol
but it gets me around safely and dry...
