if you grind/roll the lip most (roughly et45) will fit on,

ET45 is the offset of the wheel - how far it sticks out from the arch basically. The lower the offset the further it will stick out. Ideally you want something between ET45 and ET49, although i found my ET45 alloys rubbed on the inner arch..

Grinding or rolling the arches is where you remove the edge of the wheelarch or bend it upwards so it doesnt rub on the tyres - any good bodyshop can do this for you relatively cheaply.

thats ok then, i could not possibly have a clue hot to do that myself, also how much does an average whole body repray cost on a nova

how long is a piece of string

respray costs differ hugely mate - i know of people that have gotten full body resprays in a different colour to the original paint for around ?500. Then again it can be as much as ?1500 for a very good quality job.

Best bet is to phone around all your local sprayers and get some quotes - maybe do some of the prep work yourself to lower the cost or not get the door shuts and engine bay done, just the bare minimum if you are working to a budget.

You done cover windows etc, you remove them.

The headlights will need to come out, all your windows will, interior trim, number plates, drop your exhaust off the bracket. rear lights out, wheels off or steelies on....
