aye my mates 1.7 T40 is pretty much finished now. its back on the road and he'll finish the rest of the project rolling resto.
some pics of it with my car (which he wanted) round his house. looks and sounds awesome. im sure it'll go well too. its running in @ 130bhp...
good stuff.
aye this is the car that was for sale a bit ago (when in primer) but he says he wants to keep it now.. :wink:

it is nothing that hasn't already been done; but in the flesh its a different story to be honest; lots of subtle bits and bobs you can't see:
the flame red paint has multi-coloured glitter/sparkles all-throughout it, flush scuttle panel, the doors open via remote-solenoid.. plus more.
all bar spraying itself and engine build done by himself too.
round here its a rarity anyway so he's enjoying the looks and reactions..

lol, no though he's thinks he's god; he can't spray cars- ain't got the tools or clean workshop. he preped, blended fitted the kit bits, flushed, welded smoothed all. primered himself, even mixed the glitter into the paint himself. just top coat and laquare was done for him by skilled chap.
