Just had car dropped roughly 40 - 60mm,looks very good, i don't wanna invalidate insurance and i have to tell them about 3 points on licence anyway, but what will be there view on it? Im certain they are going to want more but i don't know anything for definite, insurance companies are slippery basta*ds at the best of times.

u dont have to tell insurance company about points until you renew the policy but it might be a good idea to anyway. lowering should be ok, but it depends on your insurance company.

you have to tell em about the suspension as they can (and ive seen it done) void your policy in event of a claim.

points are best to tell em but they wont affect policy until next renewal.

If your not sure, call them and say that you are thinking of lowering your car, and ask if it would affect your premium ?

Hard luck mate...insurance companies are twats X-(

I'd argue that the car is now safer being lowered, as you're less likely to loose in on a sharp bend (should you accidentally get caught out going too fast)...they don't look at it like that though!
I'd says the same for brake conversions...they should lower the premiums cos the car is safer with better brakes!
