I have just got some central locking solenois to go in so my next purchase is an alarm !
can anyone give me any advice on buying a CAT 1 insurance approved alarm.
I just ned simple protection i.e windows and front doors, some kinda loud annoying noise and maybe an immobiliser meaning that you can't switch the ignition on without disabling the alarm. ohh, and with a remote feature that'd operate my central locking would be pleasent.
Preferably one of those ones that cmes with the free fitting when they come to your house, cos i'm getting lazy in my old age (18) :-D
Also, what kinda of insurance benefits am i looking at ? cos i'd like it to knock some of my Fully comp premium, is this likely to happen or a figment of my imagination !?
