Sorry but i have rebuilt engine and the engine bay is clean ( although its covered in wax oil) the woman who had it has had it oil since it was new every 6 months. Hence why there is No rust

right...i've decided....

The car is staying as it is..i have kept the original shocks/springs and the original door cards( i bought 2nd hand cards to put the door speakers in). I realise that reversiable modded novas are rare therefore anything i will do can be returned to normal. What do peop's think about this idea?

How many originals are out there? Can people post pics up so i can see what they look like and what alloys people have put on?

Cheers

well i posted pics of mine, thats got fondmetal 5800 alloys, the body work is totaly untouched. Good to see you aren't gonna ruin it by doing irrevesable mods to it. 8) 8)

Decided...............staying as it is in the pic. Going to post up more detailed pics tomorrow. However, engine may get tweeked but only carbs so it can be returned to normal. I really want twin weber 40's or dellortos but can't decide. Hmmm...choices? Anyway...the car is wrapped up in the garage for the night seeing how its pissing down.

Mike.

yeah just do lots of work on the engine because the exterior of the car is perfect as it is

Adam

Go for twin 40s, keep the original carb etc to turn it back as you said, leave the bodywork completely standard and don't knacker the wheels.
You have got the bargain of the year for ?150, here in stoke i can't even remember the last time i saw a nova
Your SR will be a proper head turner, looks awesome, proper retro.
Keep it sweet and sound.
