Bit Torrent Probs.....

I have just installed Azureus hoping to download from Suprnova.org, but when I run the configuration wizard and test my connection it says


Testing port 6881 ... Unable to test because listening port is already
in use. Please stop all active torrents and restart Azureus.
Then run this test again.

I have no torents active as this is the first time I have downloaded anything like this.

And ideas anyone?

i use a downloader called abc to get my bits off from supernova cant you use that mate

Something else is using port6881 - can you config the torrent client to use a different port?
Either that or you firewall needs to be configured to allow traffic through that port.

cheers for the help guys, I found it was another peer-to-peer program that was using that port, I closed it down then re-tried and it works fine now.
