my petrol gauge is fucked on my nova and i need to fix it has anybody got any ideas????

change the sender unit, its like a float in the toilet cistern... its easy, just make sure there isnt any petrol in the tank or itll piss out

Yeah mine is fucked too... it only works when I have more than half a tank full so i can never tell how much i have left after it goes under half which is a bastard!!

My gauge didnt work- it was the wires and connections on the sender unit which had rusted and snapped, simply replace them with new connections

ive done loads ov these, thing is when your gauge is fucked u dont know how much is in, i could have sworn that i was ready to run out when i did mine but it was a quarter full :)

Well, I don't know if mines fucked but it always seems to be empty after 2 days. after putting 1/2 a tank

not really much point fixing it at the mo guys....
