Just a few update pics . First ones of the outside of the car that ive uploaded. Engines had a new sump gasket today. And just sorting out the cam cover now.Awaiting the new gaskets ect . Once thats here i can get everything back together. Gave the gearbox a clean up too. was full of grime. Mght give it a polish up. Not gonna do to much cos im sure its only gonna get filthy again. And the wheels only have the struts and wishbone bolted up. hence there not straight in the arch! :)
That shell is bloody MINT :o

Need to have a word with a few peeps first rik cos i need a few bits welding up on it.
Basically holes that were cut for other uses that im not going to need.
Also i need to get alot of bits orderd. mainly braided hosing/silicone hoses/oil cooler/oil thermostat/ ect. which all costs money.
But im itching to drive summat quick again lol!!

the box i used a drill fixed wire brush first.
Then some wire wool and autosol.
then just a rag to hand wipre it.
Its not great. But its clean. thats the main thing.
The engine is still in the process of being cleaned up. Just taken the cam cover of for repaint. And got some stuff that needs to be polished or chromed. :)
Good stuff Chris, you've been a busy boy ;)
You've got my number if you need a hand mate.
Jim

That is looking great Chris cant wait to see this next yr,
But surely you could of saved your old shell and sold it on with a standard Xe in it or something :?:
what was wrong with the old nova shell, the new one looks perfect but like said surely you could have got a bent or rotten gte and whacked all the bits in your old shell as the paint was well nice
