When I was ringing around the enginineering firms the other day,

one of them said that they had a special tool to groove brake discs.

30 Grooves, and they could drill them as well,

Is this dodgy in anyway at all?

The discs are brand new by the way?

no mate it shouldent be as long as the do them properly it should be sweet, how much r they charging u for them to do that then mate?

Its not really a tool its more likely machine, milling (spelling) machine. Its like a big drill with drill bits from HSS. They set th depth on the drill and the movement of the drill bit and let machine grove and drill. I did some work on that machine in workshop, well cool!
