What colour is the petrol gauge wire on a mk2 Nova Loom (SR), with Gsi dials?

I have left yellow and blue wire from the dash plug, and a brown and blue on the dash plug and in the car loom i have a brown and yellow wire....

Also help if could some one could tell me what all the wires are?

Use your noggin. Look at the plug in the back of the tank that happens to be the fuel sender, it will have two wires, an earth or live and another colour which is the colour you want.

I thought GSi dash used the same plug as the SR anyway!! straight swap apart from the oil pressure.

Well, I have more wires on the Nova GSi plug than on the SR loom...

I think it must be the engine management wire?

I will figure it out I'm sure, but it had me confused as fuck yestday!

the list above shows the colours for astra and nova. The first colour on a line is astra, the second is nova

you're trying to plug mk2 clocks into a mk1 aren't you? the extra wire in the GSi (if it really is from a GSi) is for the rev counter. on mk1s it went through a seperate spade connector on the clocks, not through the main connector.
