That's how a lad at work described the nova today, which led to me getting into quite a heated debate with him about it. He eventually backed down and agreed that Nova's might have some redeeming qualities... but not many.

Also had the same thing said to me the other day by a young lad at work who is seventeen. he says there is NO WAY he would ever own a nova because of the "Boy Racer" image they have, and that if i have such an interest in them, then i must be a boy racer (aged 24 lol).

Then i heard the afore mentioned 17 year old talking to a 19 year old about his 1.2 saxo being quicker than a 1.4 focus

I use to get it all the time, still do. Funniest time was when I would get abuse from this lad I worked with who was early 20's. He had a Saxo and thought he was far superior to me. It was a VTR, but had a horrible rear spoiler and a dash mounted rev counter with shift light that went to 11k! He said his limiter was at about 6,500, yet his dials on his car actually reved to 8k, I have no idea why he needed the dash mounted rev counter, lol.
