Wheel Offset

I got some alloys ?140, there only 13'' the offset is 35. Will these fit my Nova it said they would on the advert!?! But after reading summat just i aint sure! I need tires put on but i dont wonna waste money if they aint gonna fit

35 is about as far from the right offset as you could have bought. 49 is the correct offset.

A 35 offset will stick out too far... giving the car a wider stance. With a 13" wheel this will not be the end of the world if you use a low profile tyre, but with normal tyres, and a set of lowering springs you're gonna have serious rubbage.

it says nothing in that about specific nova fitment

and lmao at "front wheel drive fitting" as the manta had similar offset and thats reaer wheel drive

With them being 4 stud, you will be able to get hte wheel to fit onto the nova... but handling might be affected, and you are almost certain to get rubbing for the reasons named above.

Best thing to do is sell them on, or don't go through with the auction on ebay... Then use the money to buy something else, perhaps some 14" vauxhall alloys.

Yeah, The auction was labbeled Nova/Corsa Alloys. I might just sell them on, who knows mite make a profit

chances are someone bought a corsa or nova with them on it and reliased they were wrong, or decided they wanted some bigger wheels.

Just remember in future... between 42 and 49 would be MUCH better.

ive GOT a set of 16" wheels on my nova and there 35mm offset.

with 45profile rubber they scrub, but only just.

rolled, ground arches and bobs your uncle, no scrubbage.

and they look a hell of a lot better.

i kept getting folk sayin, 'oh they wont fit' etc

gritted my teeth, bought the alloys and now i couldnt be happier.

i would go ahead with em coz if i can get 16s on i think ul manage wi 13's
