I know that you have put a GTE center section on Robs girlfriends SRi. Which Back box did you use was it for a GTE or a GSi and did it join correctly and still exit out straight. I have asked a few places for the GTE center section and a the GSi back box. I was told that this was not possible due to flange differences.

it' got a bb4 off a 1.4sr
i had a std 1.2i back box on it before
they are all the same size
so yes a gte center section with ur magnex back box will fit fine

16v Nova - Toolkit, Trouble, Points and great expence all come as standard :)

4 styles of exhausts on novas....

1.0
1.2/1.2i/1.4spi
1.3sr/1.4sr
sri/gte/gsi

all std bore back boxes are interchangable (if u ignore the bumper clearance prob)

for decatting...

a 1.2 carb center section will fit on a 1.2i

a pre cat gsi/gte center section will fit on cat gsi/sri
