i get this fault code from my gte?what does this mean and how do you rectify it??
its a gte lump in a corsa and has the corsa manifold on at the mo and then also has a cat-is this anyhting to do with it?

cheers james

If you are using a 1.6 on a 1.4 inlet and ecu, the vacuum created by the 1600 might be outside the limits of the programme for a 1400. A 1600 lump will definately suck harder. :o

All of the MAP sensors are the same on N/A engines - they read between 0.1 and 5 volts (well around 4.9 actually) .

Its more likely to be a wiring fault (or the sensor has failed - I have two spare if you need one!)

The output might be the same but what about the limits programed into the ECU? What ECU are you using?

no GTE had a MAP sensor so the fault code is coming from somthing else....

hence why I was asking if he was using the 1.4 ecu and manifold!
