what size are the original front and rear speakers in a mk 1 nova 1.3 sr

depends whether its a mk1 or mk2

no, then.
for mk1.
the left hand side is easy, take glove box off.
drivers side is harder. i go through the fuse box (pushes out of the way)
tyhen use those magnetic screw driver attachments, but about 3 of them. you can then reach the srews at the top.
works for me.

i'm going to change my front ones shortley (mk1 nova). however on the right one, as well as it appearing to be awkward to get to, there doesnt seem to be a lot of clearence between the magnet and the headlight switch? so if i put speakers in with a larger magnet its probably not going to fit without permimently moving this switch? any body got experience of this? any bright ideas how to overcome it?

remove the fron grills and un screw the screws iirc

mk2 - just undo the screws like what epo said then stick your hand up from underneath and twist it
