Me nova's nearly there Now with new pics

went to see my car today and im glad its finally getting there after some lengthy delays. I put the car into a bodyshop in about march so that they could take their time and get it ready for july without rushing, so that i got my car back when my ban ran out.

However, it didnt go like that and the lad that was doin my car basically did fuck all to it for months, so by the time my ban ran out the car was just prepped :evil: . Anyway, he had personal probs so i gave him a bit (a lot) of slack and agreed he would finish the car. Wot a prick i was :evil: . Again i got let down, he didnt any work on the car for ages and eventually just left it there. The cheeky ****!

So its on the last straight of its moddin with another bodyshop finishin it off now, and the work they have done so far is great, so, hopefully i wont have any more probs and it shud be finished by the end of the month.

Got 1 pic today but its a bit shit, goin back on monday to fit my exhaust with my dad and do a few other things, so ill get a few more then!

the lines look like they all match up. I've been in a similar situation with my bodyshop, they should have had it 2 months, ended up having it for 8months. Still, it's back now and im glad he didnt do a rush job.

It'll be worth it in the end.

yep, im glad its all sorted and on the right road at last!

The colour around and inside the doors is the colour the car will be, cant remember wot it is now, rosso red i think.

Looks a lot lower now, it was on normal gsi shocks and springs before and -60mm susp makes it look a lot better, jus makes it a pain in the arse to work on cos you cant get a decent jack under it!

got a few more pics today, the cars been sprayed now and looks much better. Badboy bonnet is finished aswell, they have kept the line goin down the middle of the bonnet which ive never seen before and looks very nice!

It feels worth the wait now. the car just needs a bit more polishing and putting back together now and should be finished by next week.

Theres a couple of fiddly jobs to do aswell like the exhaust has to be modified so it fits thru the hole in my rear bumper, and the door poppers are too big and catch the window runners so ive had to compromise and the windows can only go 3/4 of the way down!

Everythings all coming into place now, ive got my driving test on :twisted: TUESDAY SEP 28TH :twisted: , ive sorted my insurance out so im just waiting for the car to finished then tax and MOT it. Then its all done! :D

yep ive been banned and i now pay ?1741 a year for TPFT insurance. All mods are stated buts its still a hefty price compared to ?800 fully comp that it was before!

Worse part about it is that ive paid ?450 just for the deposit :( which takes a nice bite out of my balance!

Hopefully this is where things start to get better again since i mite be able to drive again from tuesday, fingers crossed :lol:

and my car was also in the body shop for an age. it was really pissin me off but it was ok in the end as it was an ok job.

got a better photo 2day after i bought some new tyres for my 16s. Got some new shiny whhel nuts, a goodyear and a toyo proxy t1s for ?40 :D Tyres are part worn but nearly brand new which has saved me a bit of money. Jus have to buy another goodyear and toyo then thats them sorted!

The colour is something like rosso red, i cant remember exactly what it is.

i wasnt too sure on it at first but now ive seen the car, i think it looks gorgeous. Itl be nice when i get it outside even tho there isnt much sunny weather left :(

I got banned for dangerous driving due to me drivin like a prick goin round a roundabout the wrong way. Most people thought it was a bit harsh since it was about 1am and no cars or people about (apart from a sneaky police traffic van), but i was still in the wrong for doin it.
