Because its a 1 litre does it run on 4 star or unleaded??? I heard 1.2s are 4 star but thats becuase of the catalic converter thing??

look on the engine number on the block, if there is an asterisk (*) then it can run on unleaded. if it is 1988 onwards, then it will be ok, because all cars built after that year must be unleaded.

Its a 1991 Mk2, I read in the owners manual it can take both?? Is that right? Im running low on petrol now cus after havin all the bodywork done i dont wonna mess my powerful engine up! :D
