right, i have a mk2 flame red nova with excellent paintwork/bodywork (when i get the last bits of glue off the doors...lol)

i have a set of Astra GSi 15s and an AXGT rear spoiler to put on (not in the usual gy place, it's getting fitted so it looks very very similar to the 'predator' spoiler...) and a set of around 50-60mm lowering springs...

the big question is, i want a different looking car, and after seeing a few pictures of red cars with white alloys, i want to get everyone's opinions...

should i spray my Astra GSi 15s white

i tried white alloys on mine (its red :P) and they looked mint - really really good! think u should go for it :D

can anyone recommend a piant to spray them with, as it needs to be hard wearing and not flake off after 2 minutes...

Yep, I think it'll look good too. Most painted alloys have loads of layers of laquer on them to protect the paint and stop it flaking off.

you need to have the right alloys to loog good in white

I think they will look tacky mate, I wouldn't do it. As Ick says, they need to be the right alloys to look good in white. I don't think the Astra wheels are the right kind of wheel to be sprayed white.

why dont you get the done in athrisite if you dont want silver

or you could allways do them orange lol

dont listen to them ged - my fella sprayed his stealths white and they looked really nice (they were the ones i tried on mine)

havent got a clue what paint he used - but could find out if u want! :D

yeah but his are astra gsi wheels

they dont look anything like normal "white" wheels

i say paint them and if they look crap

paint em again!

i'll put them on my car as they are, then take a few piccies...

then digitally turn the wheels white...

then i'll post the piccies here and get everyone's opinions on them ;)
