Engine trouble

When im drivin my car it seems that its only running off half power. When i stop driviin and drive it about an hour later or summit it will seem that the car is kinda kickin into full power when drivin and then will eventually be ok.

what could cause this problem and how could i fix it, rather frustratin when u got a grandad in a 1.3 escort overtakin you lol

could be simply misfireing. check your sparks and leads

cudbe number of problems, a friend had samekinda ofproblem in his clio 172 andit was the fuel regulator

tis a 1.4. ive been told that it cud be fuel pump, carb blocked or timing etc. so ill give em all a look over, cheers
