yes and im pretty sure its the 256mm ATE stuff

if it is the 256x24mm stuff then its the same as the 2.0 cavs and astra 16v's and is very good on a nova :)

Cheers for that any ideas how much new discs and pads would be as I might aswell get some new ones on. Is it worth goin for drilled and grooved and green stuff etc

think nearly all vauxhall brakes are interchangable

will there be much difference between the cav td and my 1.2i

Philsutton

there should be a noticable differnce between the two as the cav is alot heavier and the 1.2i brakes are shit

to be fair 1.2i brakes are considerably better than the 1.2 DELCO (old style) brakes lol

cant beat 4 pots or V6 brakes though ;)

I'll second that, V6 ones are wicked

if you got the weight of a V6 over the front wheels then V6 brakes are even better.

2.0 16v (254mm) will do fine for most small block applications.

when getting disks and pad just go to your local motor factor and get them. as i dont think you will notice a difference betweeen groved and normal. and they are much cheaper, think i got disks and pads for under ?30

is it not worth uprating the brake servo to a gte\gsi one :?:

Chris

The servo doesnt increase the braking it just mean that you dont have to press the pedal as hard

or as far you should say.

but surely uprating the servo will make the brakes feel harder and easier to work :? if you get me

Yes, but as Chris said it doesnt increase your break power, just makes it easier.

i know but i'd rather have the hard feel of the pedal

there is not a big difference betweent eh 2 units anyway. About 5-10mm i think.

no, as hard.

changing the master cylinder affects travel.
