ive noticed that, the jobs ive gone for that i really didnt want i got and the ones i wanted really bad i didnt get

lol, I just sat at home and didn't apply for the job I am in now, they called me up and asked me if I wanted to work for them!!! :D :D

thats just happend to me!

Fruehauf phoned me up and said we need a apprentice welder, on ?6 per hour till you get your GNVQ then it goes upto ?13per hour

i had to say yes :wink:

I've always been offered job if i've gone in there with an attitude of "couldn't care less" ... generally if you ask them as many questions as they ask you, and make sure you know about what they do etc before you go in there, they will be impressed.

for example:
"So, what makes you want to work here...?"
You answer their question with something they would want to hear, and then ask them "What are the benefits of working for your company as opposed to someone else in your sector?"

makes you sound intelligent, and also relaxes you a bit, because you are interviewing them in return so not just sat there wondering if you will get it, you can wonder if you'd want it.

i asked more questions then what he asked me lol, and i no quite a bit about BMW's because i had a e30 325i and i now someone whos madd about them lol

one of the questions in my interview was

"If you went to a showroom to look at a new car, what would attract you the most?"

my reply
"with euro hippy hat on, id say fuel economy, but i really dont care about that, I'd say the power/accelration stats would be more attractive than a car that can go 500 miles on a teaspoon of water"

that apparently was what got me my job lmao

and also saying that if my boss wanted me to release untested software i would go to his boss to tell him to FO ;)

all that for a job i didnt initially want, infact i was still sceptical about wanting it when they offerec me 25% more money tha i was expecting
