I wouldn't bother going FC. As soon as you mention engine swap the insurance goes up, as far as I am aware it goes up depending on power increase. Ive just put a 2.0l in my 1.4 and it went up from ?850 TPFT to ?1050 FC on the 2.0l VERY PLEASED !!!!!

why try all the big companies that insure standerd cars when u can try the companies that are set up for modified cars?

forgive me for saying but you want a modified car, makes sense to try the modified companies, dont u think??

back ov the car mags look for modified car insurance.

I THOUGHT I'D GET A COUPLE OF QUOTES FOR ME:
25 yrs, with 3 yrs no claims... Fully Comp.

Normal GSi, with alloys, exhaust, & lowered = ?552 (?300 excess)

same as above with 2Litre 16v = ?945 (?350 excess)

WHAT YOU THINK ?? HOW DOES IT COMPARE?????

Would I also have to tell them about flushed tailgate, vents in bonnet, single wiper, fog lights etc etc ??
