I cant believe it! I've just been quoted ?1200 to insure an s reg vectra gsi fully comp (with tesco insurance). I just paid ?1000 for my nova gsi TPFT! I mean i love my nova but i also love vectra's and i cant believe how cheap that is, i think it may have to be my next car. Because i've just paid ?1000 do you think that means i could just pay the extra ?200 and go straight onto the vectra?

lmao you think thats cheap

anyway no it wont be a simple ?200 more" to get g a veccy as your policy has started. but then again it will be worth calling them and asking!

also veccy GSI's arent exactly cheap to buy in noon ragged nick

I think its cheap considering i just paid ?1000 for my 1.6 8v gsi TPFT and they want ?1200 for a 2.5 v6 24v vectra gsi fully comp. I've been looking on ebay and there's a couple of nice one's on there. Some are abit out of my price range though

Are the sri's the same engine as the gsi's?

Yes would be mine, i have just been offered my dream car so need the cash pronto.

EGR is sweet no probs, needs a Knock sensor replacing but i have that ready to do.

Only major diff in engines is a different chip and cams.

Whats your dream car? Unfortunately my vecci dream isn't planned for anytime in the very near future so cant really say i'll have it, sorry. I could give you the ?40 for those windows though if you're free anytime this week?

atleast i can poke the back end out easily in an omega compared to a veccy lol

i know its not a supercar but hey its fast (ish) comfy and got a boot big enough to move house with (or to put 3 people in)

I know they're quick(ish), but my mates got a 3.0 v6 auto and i was pretty unimpressed with it. I mean its quicker than my nova, but for a 3.0 v6 i dont think they're that good.
