Inlet Manifold

Guys whats the difference between 1.3 and 1.4 inlet manifold? How come 1.3 fits and 1.4 doesnt? How can you tell the difference between them?

The cylinder head ports are a different shape and size and don't line up. The 1.4 has restrictive small square ports and the 1.3 has large cathedral shaped ports.

1.4 manifold will fit on 1.3 and 1.2 head, but 1.3 manifold won't work with 1.4 head. All the manifolds will bolt up the same, but the actual fuel ways are different in each.

1.4 manifold will only properly fit the 1.4 and 1.2spi head.

Don't ever use a 1.4inlet on a 1.2/1.3.

Use a 1.3inlet on either a 1.2 or 1.3.

As snowface said, DO NOT mix and match the 1.4 and 1.3 head /manifolds. You will have less power than you started with.
