I am thinking of buying some Avo coilovers for my Turbo will these handle the extra weight of a c20let and a 6-spd box?

yeah they will be fine :)

just wind the springs down abit and make them really hard ;)

or get some 300 lb front springs to take the load as opposed to winding them down etc

I have just been reading about coilovers and it seems that most people are buying coilovers so they can slam there cars to the ground but this is something that i dont need to do.....would i be better with someting like koni adjustables so i can just changer the damper?

well you can "just use them to slam the car, but they are for getting almost perfect settings on the suspensio, i mean CP didnt fit coilovers just to slam it lol

I've just fitted Gaz front coilovers to my XE'd nova for handling perposes and they can take the extra weight of the engine! 250lbs Springs!

They are on a Medium stiffness sitting and the handle Prefect on Cornering and alot better at getting the power down! :D

Probably lowered about 40mm front and 60mm

I had Avo coilovers with my XE and they were ok but as soon as I but the LET in they were bottoming out all the time (with 300lb springs on) and popped the seals, also the top adjustors siezed. I'd steer clear to be honest and get proper coilovers like Leda's.
