well smart dan getting there now, just a Q, what top mounts you running, they look very similar to the universal TAS ones ive got hold of, im just in a dilemma about how to fit em to the coilovers ive got, is there some sort of sleeve nut used on yours?, cheers dude

dan16v
13-09-04, 05:42 PM
not sure which ones they are m8, they were from rally designs they were a direct fit apart from i had to drill out the sleeves to fit the shock piston rod

yes m8 it is, its a rite bitch of a job to cut both flanges off tho! i bought the flanges from chris on mig all in all it works out to bout ?350 abit more if you dont know a dam good TIG welder, as there liable to crack if you dont match the filler rod to the manifold material spec!

Its the same but mine has been extensifully modded to accept the external wastegate and had a new flange fitted to it for the ceramic turbo.

This is a fairly up to date pic of it, i hope to have it out of my garage soon and down the paint shop, just got my new slam panel from vauxhall to cut up to make a piece to fit on mine. Sinece this pic i have fitted my new rocker cover with all the breather attatchments and mounted the rad properly and fitted the fans to the rad.

Rick, your engine bay looks absolutely amazing, but I'm not keen on the front bumper, I take it that is far far from being finished?

true, but only on a straight road

edited to add, teh bumper appears to be the only thing that isn't finished to an amazingly high standard, that is all I was trying to say.

I have a kingdom one in the garage waiting to go on and some 20" bling bling spinners.................................

Not really, its off down the bodyshop hopefully in the next few weeks to have all the bodywork finished so the bumper will be done then, its going to be just like bretts front one.

Really shud get on with it now but i have been to busy with other things to do anything on it. O and the mapper needs about a months notice before he can fit it in but thats looking like next year now. O and he has a customers sierra cosworth thats just set a new top speed record for cosworths just shy of 202 mph and running about 620bhp and a 150 shot of noz on top of that figure.
