egr valve - twin 40's

hi folks - just went to fit my twin 40's on my gsi engine today and found the hole in the head for the EGR valve (exhaust gas recirculating) can i just leave this or stick a large bolt in it? or something as I have no need for it on the 40's - cheers for any advice

the hole is made redundant once forties are fitted so blocking it off is essential. i used a large bolt to seal mine up

I had the head off anyway so I took it to a metal enginering type place and they welded it up for me - nice!
