I wasn't in my car as i'm in the middle of a 2.0l conversion myself. I was in my brothers car, the red 2.0l 16v GSI that was parked 2 cars to the left of yours when we were talking about your distributor. I was with the bloke who took your number about the Cav distributor. I was wearing a blue yankees baseball cap and a grey addidas jumper/jacket thing. ?

think i might have a distributor lying round at bat as now running a dispack with the throttle bodies.

I goin to have a fiddle trying to make up a throttle position sensor for it first as I got a 'weber alpha' one, but it uses different voltages to the bosch unit. But if this fails then I'll use a distributor. Coz I want to try and keep the dispac really.
