My Turbo is pulling to the left whenever i accelarate also at about 50mph i get a lot of shaking on the steering wheel. Any ideas becuase i am having tommorow off work and i really wanted to get it sorted.

problem with one of the callipers maybe?

umm torque steer for the pulling!

check your tyre pressures are the same

get the wheels balanced

check teh brake calipers arent siezed

get rid of the LET and put a 1.2 in

sounds like you have knocked your tracking out mate. or you have a warn bush on the suspension somewhere. get a set of polly bushes and get the tracking done

sorry should have explained a bit more.....i put all poly bushes on my car about 3 months ago/1000 miles, i have had the tracking done....both bottom ball joints have been replaced.....plus it only pulls to the left when i accelerate it will coast in a perfectly straight line.

I have exectly the same but to the right!!! Havent replaced polys though!

TORQUE STEER!!! for the turbo

but the 1.2 just has issues

when i replaced the poly bushes i had no torque steer at all but now it has come back :(

Check your front crossmember.

deffo check your crossmember for any cracks or breakage as i had this happen and i never noticed it was broken for ages.

how recently was your tracking done as it may have been knocked out, easily done without even knowing it. also check your wheel bearings as they can cause this. jack up the car and look for any play there

the bar that goes accross the front of the car that the tie rods from the bottom of the hubs mount too and the rad sits on. where the tie rods mount (two bolts on top and one at the back) check for cracks arround the join as they are prone to braking there
