I sometimes get depresed for no reason at all. It pisses me off. Hmm, it's probably not for 'no reason', as obviously it must be thoughts and stuff. But it pisses me off nonetherless.

And i'm sick of being the clown for everyone's amusement. I allways listen to other peoples problems, and give them advice, but all i'm expected to be is just some clown to pick them up. Once i had something on my mind when i went to work, and i didn't look happy. So this girl ('good' friend of mine) just said ''cheer up, you're not allowed to be sad as i need to you make me laugh''. Marvellous. Don't even bothered offering to even ask me if i'm ok, or if i'd like to talk about something.

She's also another one of my MANY 'friends' who texts me when she has relationship problems, or whatever, so i do what i can to listen to her, advise her and cheer her up. But if the ask her a question (or text her at a later date), i don't hear from her AT ALL until the next ''i really need to talk to someone....'' crisis.

Anyway, the next time this happens, i will bombard her with ''c0ckNose'' texts. And shun her. And everyone.

Yes. I have had a nervous breakdown (or not). But consider yourselves shunned.

Marty I know exactly how you feel (as you are well aware).

People always come to me with their problems "because Im a good listener" but when you are in that position you feel that you have no-one yourself to go to. You also tend to compare their problems with your own and sometimes see how they are reacting to trivial things compared to what is going on in your life.
As BT said it is good to talk about it, but try to do it with someone who will understand or at least listen. Don't ever try to talk with someone who hasn't a care/want in the world because they will not fully understand and will dismiss it as a simple whine.
Getting into routines will also get you dont. Try to do something different each day. Simply getting up, going to work, coming home, eating and going to bed is dull and will get you down (i know). You have to try and keep yourself occupied with something you enjoy. As you have said before you need an escape such as DVDs, music or computer games. However you should not overdo these becasue reality can easily be dimmed by films and other fictional media. You must judge how much is enough.
For all other people reading this this it is also the case with the pron. Too much is bad for you.

Drink is definately a bad idea. It WILL lead you into a spiral of depression.

This all started when i got banned on NL...... lol

Oh and i am a clown, with my own naturally curly hair and permanent grin. I first got called the class clown when i was 6 years old, so this is what i specialised in at school, and thus graduated with. I took my clown education all the way to degree level, and am now using it at work to enable me to climb the corportae ladder. I used it to such great effect at the last management meeting i went to (under mistaken identity lol), that the training was delayed by an extra 50 minutes. This is clearly a step in the right direction to impress the company directors and reach the top of the corporate ladder.

Also - have you considered, instead of climbing the corporate ladder for someone else... how about starting a clown school?
