bonnet

hi ppl,just got a little question for you.im givin my nova a facelift and was wondering if a bonnet off a mk 1 would fit on a mk2 facelift that im gunna put on,or will i need the mk 2 bonnet aswell?? :?

any help would be great!!

Which ones have the pins to hold the badge?

the bonet with the pins to hold the badge on is the mk2 because the badge on mk1's were vynal badges

the mk1 badges aint vinyl they are on the grill and the pins are actually on the badge there are holes in the bonnet

mk1 GTE and SR badges were stickers on the bonnet, but all other models had it on the grill

i want a mk1 bonnet because those holes in the mk2 bonnet are ridiculous

i put a vectra vauhall badge over my holes to make it look a bit more modern

it'd probably look a bodge if i did that + id have to spray the whole bonnet wouldnt it

my k reg mk2 1.2 didnt have any holes when i took the badge off the bonnet!!

i tried fillin the holes in on the bonnet and it looked bad :cry: so i stuck the badge back on :lol:
