my uncle is a scrappy and e as many corsa A (novas) what do you think of this 1.6 GSi block, 1.3 rally head, whit kitcam kent, anda a 4-1 exaust runing a for now a werber 32/34?
Apreciate opinions

Anyway back to the question at hand.

The 1.3 head will only be of benfit if its got bigger valves (ie the same size as the 1.6 valves, or bigger) otherwise you will seriously restrict power, but you will see a bit of an increase in torque lol

Get a 1.6 head skimmed, ported and maybe bigger valves cut in and your laughing.

If you get the manifolds and the head all matched and ported then this will be very good. As you said the head is a rally head, it could have bigger valves already you will have to check. But i would recomend setting the carb up!!

the 1.3 head is less the likely to have bigger valves than the 1.6

BUT measure the valves on the 1.3 head and ill measure the 1.6 ones i have.

the nova "sport" which was clased as the rally car had a standard head
