hey, just wondered if anyone has any tips for fitting abyss bumpers?? i am wondering what to do as no fitting kit is supplied and there is no way of fastening the ends.
any help appreciated, thanks alot people

there shud be 2 hollow box sections in the inside of the bumper, u can drill holes thru these and line the holes up with the ones in the cars rear panel and bolt it thuru

cheers, wot about the ends tho?? how u fasten them?

i just used self tapping screws and screwed the ends into the arch lips, but drill thru with a small drill bit first.

dont know about the front but the back was well easy and a good fit.
on your old rear bumper there are two clips per side which slide off. if you line them up carefully and bond them to the abyss with fiberglass or anything then you can use the old holes in the rear arch and srew into the bumper from inside the arch. no drilling or hastle involved :D

cheers people! i will be doing it myself as i rang a bodyshop and they wanted ?125 per bumper for fitting!! :o

daylight robbery innit, i got my magnum side skirts and i spent a day trying to find someone to fit them, some one wanted 110 to fit them as they needed minor cutting.....joke!!! i finally got them done both for ?60 by the bloke who has now done everything to my car!!
