Alrite guys, just wondering how you'd go about fitting a MOT friendly cold air feed to a bolt on, and what type of piping to use, etc.

Does it make a difference to performance/noise? I assume it would.

Its for a MK1 1.3

Cheers :D

I got one on mine! Its 1.2 MK1.
MOT has nothing to do with it really, just run one from the plastic panel next to radiator to the filter. Just cat bit of that panel put the pipe trough and run over your engine head (will save you over the winter period). I used one from halfords, just foil one would do nicely!

Anyway, its not a rocket science and I see no reason why MOT would fail you?

I dont think it would effect MOT, I was just wondering!

So, halfords stock the right flexi-pipe? Or can u use any?

And, after cutting the circle in that panel, how do u fix the end of the pipe on? cable ties? silicone?

Cheers
