hey, cheers 4 the welcome, ive already started on the car! its had -60 g max shocks and springs, tar ox grooved and drilled discs, painted calipers and drums, rage exhaust, 15" team dynamics alloys, and its in the body shop at the mo havin abyss front and rear bumpers and colour coded gsi skirts, smooth tailgte and clear rear lights and havin a fresh layer of polar white paint :D then i hav other bis and bobs like ally fuel cap and few interior bits. as 4 the engine its 1 of the single point injection 1's :cry: so its not fast!! but managed 2 get a green filter 4 it.

any1 know how 2 get a pic on ur sig, cus i hav a sig wiv sum pics of my car on

lol i know there 2 slow!! but i jus gonna stick with it until insurance goes down, cant really afford 2 get anythin quik so i thought id get it lookin tidy and stik wiv it

i tried to do that but the engine blew an i had a choice to put in a 1.4 or spend the same money an put back in the 1.2i the choice wasnt hard :lol:
But its is best to wait a bit before doing anything engine wise

i was thinkin the other day about a 1.4 engine, can u fit 1 using the same driveshafts etc?? and does it make a big difference on insurance? cus in the future i wud possibly consider it

its basically a straight swap same shafts ect... dont think its a big increase on insurance. depends on your age though.

im 19, and hav 2 yrs no claims and dun a pass plus. but 4 sum reason still gettin killed on the 1.2, a change of insurance company me thinks!! :roll:

have u tried elephant? i used to be with budget but pay pennies a year to insure my nova...will no doubt change soon though when i declare my mods...

noooo, course we're not. mines alive (just lol).. :wink:

i happen to drive a 1.2..lowered 35mm, 15" astra alloys, GTE sideskirts etc, and im 19 with 2 years NCB..but the insurance is still high, even if i am female :lol:

All i say is..it WILL be worth the wait (it better bloody be lol).

everyone has there own style.
it does not bother me in the slightest. i wont tell you its great and i wont say its horrible. its totally up to the individual.
i personally dont justify the money for kits, the cost to replace etc. if some thing goes wrong on mine, there are scrappies down the road for me to look.
