Hi,
Could people who have got a Twin 40 setup (Dellorto, or Weber)
tell me where they got their throttle cable from and how it attaches to pedal and what sort of linkage they got.

thanks

mine is a twin cable dellorto det up which was about 60 quid all in.

there is a steel block that grub screws to the top of the pedal arm (after you have cut off the old clip) both cables then go through this block and through the origional hole (elongated a bit and a plate welded over with 2 holes drilled in it) then the rest just attaches to the carbs arigional float chamber bolts and thats it. job done. http://www.cruisesouthwest.co.uk/modules/Gallery/albums/album113/aad.jpg

i have webber carbs. as md said use a block that you feed the cables through and fit ontop of your pedal arm.
then i just feed the cables though the holes in the first part of the lincage (ontop of first carb) and then tightened the cable up using the nuts on the second part of the lincage( ontop of second carb) hope the pic helps aswell. i got mine from motorsportdirect or whoever they are now :?:

webers own linkage it by far the best and only sits on one carb, you also dont have to tweak the bent arm of the magard type ones or saw the throttle stop on the carb like 90% of others that ive fitted.

Cheers. Its a Dellorto DHLA linkage i'm after. I tried Eurocarb one but the lever arm fouled in two places and i could only get 1/2 throttle.

The carb's have got a semi - lingage on them, it needs a cable tensioner fitted somewhere to make it work. might make a braket that comes off 2 studs on the inlet manifold to put a tensioner on.
