Is it possible to run a 32/34 dmtl ment for a 1.3 sr on a 1.4sr ? is it just a matter of changing the jet sizes, have come across one cheap but its for a 1.3 sr tho. The plan for my engine is to follow the guide in the technical section on tuning the 1.4 8v so it will be fitted to a 1.2 head on the 1.4 block. Any help would be much appreciated

Yeah,

fitted one from a 1.SR straight to a 1.6 astra lump expecting it not to start and it ticks over a little fast but runs absolutely fine.

Will still need it setup on a gas tester though, just need to borrow one again.

If i were you I'd slap it on there, then get it setup.

the 1300 jets are very similar to the 1400

the jets are easy to change and tbh they aint right from the factory anyway... best roilling road tuned

the jets are the same except for on the 1.4 the secondary main jet is 130 instead of 125, the secondary air corrector is 175 instead of 165

and the primary idle jet is 60 instead of 55 on the 1.4
