would a mk2 golf engine (preff gti) fit into a mk1 golf cab old w reg ive benn told some will and some wont :?:

and does any1 know of any vw site where i may find help

ive seen VR6 engines in mk1 golfs, i think you can make any of them fit if you have the time.
