Remember that thing about the in car PC running all sorts of stuff?
Well here is the budget version, (not installed yet).
You need.
An inverter,
speakers run to a amp that will power all and has phono inputs (or mini phones jack)
a laptop that is capable of storing playing recording and working,
run all the wires (power and audio lead to where laptop gonna sit (glovebox),
plug in and play what you want!
(Could also use one of those RF inputs from a CD changer to keep you're CD player)
Most expensive part (if not worried about laptop performance) will be the inverter!
I happen to inherit many a old laptop just capable of running a DOS MP3 program and storing a few tracks, takes about 30sec to boot to DOS prog too.
Anyone else got any views on this?
