i was around basingstoke last night.
Was in my mates tuned Pug 205 Mi16 (cammed, filter, rally spec exhaust, twin carbs(45's i think), chipped, running bout 210bhp+ in a lil 205!! pocket rocket, great car to race people with, they cant understand why your keeping up when they see the 1.6 GTI badges!!
anyways, we started racing this astra GSi, had 4 people in the car, just playing with it really, he was getting a bit roudy with us so we let him go...........
...........then..........
.......a nova pulled up next to us, had GSi kit, was dark metalic blue, very tidy, was booting it..........HISSSS.......turbo then?lol.
he had a www.novaload.net sticker in his rear passenger windows.
the passenger looked over, started a count down from five with his fingers, 5,4,3,2,...............1.
off it shot, but so did we, we kept up so easily and then over took him, everytime we got over 4,000 revs (second cam kick in) we pulled away. the guy in the nova was wel surprised. we stopped, had a chat bout cars,etc.
never did ask if you were off novaload, so if you are reply to this........my mates jus got direct port and wants another race!!!

P.S, to all those quarter mile runners, he did it in 13.452 at performance GTI day at Santa Pod.
