taking a girl out for a happy meal does not constitute making her feel special

FOOKING HELL!!!!!!!!

I remember it being 2p on the bus. Then 5p, then 10p, then 15p for about a week till they put it up to 20p... then it was 30p last time i gave my sister enough bus fair to get to town lol.

40p for a kids bus fair is ridiculous.

Round these parts you get on the bus cheap till you're sixteen anyway... and you have a travel card to prove your age etc. Is it not like that everywhere?

Rach, why would you pay 2.55 to get to school one mile away? Just walk - a mile is only about 15 minutes walk  Seriously... it is.

epo
06-09-04, 06:35 PM
am sure it was from the age of 13 we had to pay full price cant remember like i say its bin years and tbh id rather walk now than catch a bus

?Marty?
06-09-04, 07:33 PM
Only peasants and The Great Unwashed? use buses. Also it's funny as everyone holding onto the grab-bars whilst walking along a movign bus look like monkeys swinging from branches.

Buses are disgusting tho - you get people sneezing/coughin on their hands, wiping their snotty noses with their palms, and then touching the grab-bars that everyone else touches.

I use a taxi whenever i can, but when i have no choice but to use a bus (very very rarely) i try to pay an upgarded fee for the first-class carriage. However, i have not been able to have myself upgraded to one yet.

The best thing to do, is to take a shower-curtain with you. Then make your own 1st Class compartment.

I haven't used a bus for a couple of years at least... unless you count the one in Tunisia i caught to get a couple of towns over from the hotel away from some of the commercialism (blokes selling toy donkeys and marlboro on the beach lol).

That bus was terrible... must have been 30 years old and was PACKED with people to the point you couldnt move. However it did cost less than 5 pence for two of us to go well over 5 miles. Not a bad fare!

Cost more than that to ride in the tuc-tuc (little tricycle thing with a moped engine) from the bus station to the harbour at the other side of town (this cost about 50p).

Tunisia is great - aside from the Tunisians that live there and spoil it for the rest of us

*edit* and the Italians who were all over the bloody place... strutting around in their designer gear and looking like they owned the place. F*ck Off you c0cknosed barstewards.

bit like france then

wisewood
06-09-04, 08:32 PM
I never had much of a problem with france - drove through it on a coach once on way to Disneyland Paris when i was about 15. Didn't encounter TOO MANY annoying french people. Although to be fair i was kinda clouded by the HOT cinderella, snow white and a couple of highly sexy lady pirates on the pirates of the carribean entrance.

I went on pirates of the carribean ride several times as a result lol.
