Hey guys, I have a big problem with my Nova - the rear wheels rub.

I don't want to do extensive arch work to a car that didn't cost v much, so another idea is to get the wheel flanges machined down to reduce the offset, meaning that the wheels won't stick out as much (I'm right, aren't I??)

Is there a place around the Gloucester/Cheltennham area that would at least look at my car and wheels to see if it's feasible, and hopefully do it - all for a low low price?

Cheers,

LT

Simple answer, NO. get the right offset wheels or cut your arches back..

errr. ignore that last post. yes you can get the offset machined down. its a commonly done mod to alloys, just watch how much space you have between the inside of the wheel and the shock or inner arch.

personnelly i would of thought its alot cheaper to have a bit of arch work but ive never looked into so i wouldnt kno, and what if u decide to change ya wheels will have to b done again and you'll strugle to sell the ones uve had manchined

yer u can get them machined down.

50 quid an arch is a good price for them to be rolled, but however well they do it, it'l promote and quicken corrosion.

there is asomeone on here with 17" TSW reflex's i think! i can remember reading that he had them machined down.

i'd go for the machining and save ure arches !
