you know that gutter that runs along the top of yours doors, mine was rusted so i pulled the platic off and repainted it, is the plastic easily avalible or can you do something else with it.

Provided you've treated it well enough so that it doesnt rust again you could always leave the plastic strips off. I dont have them on my car.

i think they look better without the strips, or u could go to the extreme i have and get rid of the gutters lol

arent those gutters the main joint for the roof? meaning if u cut them off ur roof would sink?

yes but come on i ent that stupid, i didnt just hack em off and smooth em it took many hours of cuttin and weldin to get it rite

It's a pain in the arse to do actually, as it's what bonds the roof on so needs welding. But it's very thin there so difficult to weld.

If you dig through on the EPC you can actually find there are different colour rain gutter covers, on mine I had chrome ones, but then again that nova was a bit to bling for my liking, lol.

theres that place in wakefield that do vaux spares autovaux i think ill try find it out broody on here will know maybe even luke

Burgo it's only just back from the bodyshop (It's a guy on MiG who owns it).

Also don't you have to weld the inside of the gutter, as I believe it's quite a structural point for rigidity - I know they are on Mini's and when I had one and wanted them smoothed off.
