help needed, 1.2i probs

so basically afta a head rebuild the engine is gettin no fuel, took the pipes off the fuel filter and when the engine is cranked no fuel is comin thru, is it worth taking the pump out and replacing it, the pump is located under the back seats in the tank is it, i am ready 2 push it 2 the crappers.
any help much appreciated.

i remember all i did around the ful tank area is lower the car 60mm could this have caused a problem, does any1 know where the fuel pump is located plz.

true replacing the rubber pipe that links the fuel line to the tank ive had two novas where these have corroded so it couldnt get any fuel check that first b4 rippin out the tank and try and listen to see if u can here the pump wen u turn ignition on

ive just been out and removed the fule pump,, the buzz and click when u turn the ignition on is just the same as befor, so i removed the fuel pump and took the hose off i held it in the tank and cranked the engine over but nothing came out, didnt even try.
any ideas?
maybe a broken wire.
