I landed on my feet with this one.
I already own a 1.4sr that is slowly but surely rusting away and its a good job i got offered the GTE for ?200 because in my completely unprofessional opinion the SR is too far gone to repair.

If you look close at the picture of the GTE you can see the huge smash in the windscreen. Also the water pump is more than a little bit leaky which ive still gotta fix but......

the chassis....... oh the chassis........

immaculate... nearly.

It had previously had GSI front and rears added and MK2 wings, headlights and grill etc, which i cant stand. I'm now in the process of re-assembling it back to a MK1 but with some ummmmmmmmm small tweeks.

None of this would have been possible if my little brother hadnt worked for a while in a motorist shop enabling me to replace all sorts of bits and bobs at trade price. For example anyone fancy a Toad Cat 1 A1606 for ?120???? The list is endless.

Long live MK1's
