Anybody seen a Nova radio controlled car? I fancy getting a 1/10th scale petrol one but am not sure if you can buy them. Saw a petrol radio controlled dodge Viper in America. It was only $35 + shipping. Bloody bargain and they go about 60 mph apparently.

Rick Drapers the man to speak to on these as races professionally.
you could always make a shell out of fibregalls with some time.

i used to race in the nationals in the 1/10th scale tourers - gave it up cos my nova took over, couldnt afford both :( I havnt ever seen a Nova shell, you could try writing to a few companies, maybe they might make you a one off (although i doubt it!). Have a look on http://www.brca.org for the links to manufacturers.

Well Parma used to make a Nova Rallycross shell to fit converted buggies, but I'm 99% certain that it's been discontinued now :(
You could always find out Parma's UK importer and see if they have some old stock.

No companys do nova shell anymore, but a while ago i was thinking of writeing to racecraft and places to see what they cud come up with, but i think they would say it will cost ??? to make a mold of a nova shell just to mould one of them! Rick

anyone ever tried making their actual nova r/c???
it musty be possible to make your car remote controlled...
just a matter of wiring i would have thought... must be possible... must be.
that would be good at meets and stuff... get people watching you thrash your nova around while you stand there with your ickle remote box... hehhehe.
yeah right.
back into reality now eh.

Cheers guys, I will have a look at the websites and see what I can come up with. I just wanted a petrol RC car and thought it would be ace to have a Nova. I will probably just get something simple and cheap (for when I crash it)
