Nova TD Rollin Road

I've been down to NMS in Northampton with the MIG boys and girls and run my annoying Nova 1.5TD on the rollers, and it did okay with:

maximum power at flywheel: 74.0BHP
power at wheels: 55.7BHP
Power loss ie:transmission,wheels etc: 16.6BHP

Maximum engine torque: 97.8 lb ft

I know this isn't massive power but it has produced 8,BHP over standard and it is still standard.
i think it mite be time for upping the boost and fuelling. :lol: :lol:

Slightly dubious about the accuracy of the rollers if you are producting over 10% mopre power than standard on an untuned engine. :?

The rollers were pretty honest actually, maybe even a touch on the conservative side. A standard Tigra 1.6 made 1BHP less than the book figure. The 20XE's were not far off book either.

Fair play, in that case you must have a minter engine to make more n standard :wink:

or its had a headgasket some time in its life and had the head skimmed. may slightly increace power
