back from newquay, another daft purchase.

i go to newquay every year, and always end up buying summat that i will use once then forget about. last year it was a wet suit, in may i bought a surf board and this time i bought this:

a 4 line kite. ?125. i wanted a full buggy set-up but the guy said i should learn to fly a kite before i fork out ?300 on a buggy. i'm going back to newquay in october so if i have learnt to fly this thing i will buy the buggy.

so far all i have achived is a sore arse from falling over, a kite full of sand, and a big ball of string all tangled up. :roll:

living by the promenade/beach (right behind house) there are constantly people down there with kites, buggies, skateboard things. Its well cool to watch them flying around the beach. One went on his buggy, mis turned the kite and tipped the buggy with him doing a backward roll off it. Was highly amusing
